Travel Is Changing, So Am I

I am taking steps to stay safe while keeping the magic of San Francisco alive

Fogcutter Tours Health & Hygiene Practices

The health of our customers, family, and community is THE priority for Fogcutter Tours. The following policy is based on rules from the City of San Francisco and the State of California for sightseeing companies. Policy is current as of November 8th, 2022. Things may be different on your date of travel. If you have questions please contact bookings@fogcuttertours.com.

For the Alcatraz Tour, Alcatraz Island does not require masking. Nor does the Alcatraz City Cruises ferry company. See up to date Covid-19 precautions for Alcatraz Island here: https://www.nps.gov/alca/planyourvisit/conditions.htm

- For the Morning in Marin, masks are not required. See up to date Covid-19 precautions for the Muir Woods National Monument here: https://www.nps.gov/muwo/planyourvisit/conditions.htm

Fogcutter Tours has decided to update our Covid health policy to align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Community Level COVID-19 Tracker effective 10/29/22. Masks will not be required on tour unless the San Francisco community level reaches“high.” San Francisco is currently categorized as “low.” Masks are not a recommended preventive strategy for the general population at this level.

  1. If you are exposed to COVID, follow the CDC’s guidance. This includes wearing a high-quality mask or respirator (i.e., N95, KN95, or KF94) for 10 days.

  2. We fully support anyone that wishes to continue masking.

  3. Regular cleaning of the tour vehicle will continue and hand sanitizer will be available to guests on request.

  4. There are no vaccination requirements for guests

Wash your hands frequently throughout the day.

We are all in this together and with enough effort, we can beat this virus and make travel fun again!
