Morning in Marin Example Itinerary

Leave the big buses behind to explore the ancient redwood trees in Muir Woods, see diverse wildlife and epics views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge at the Marin Headlands, explore the funky boutiques and see the quirky houseboats of Sausalito, get the best view possible from a seaplane adventure above the bay, and relax on the ferry ride home. We may take some detours - It all depends on what you and the rest of the small group are interested in and what unique things are happening that day.

Golden Gate Bridge

“Grand,” “awesome" and “epic” will be said often during the Morning in Marin Tour and it starts when we cross the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County.

Muir Woods

Spend an hour under old-growth redwood trees that are 250 feet tall and 1000 years old, creating a peaceful place for reflection. The serenity and quiet are more pronounced because we arrive before the tour bus crowds.

Marin Headlands

Drive into the Marin Headlands - rich in history & biodiversity. You get breathtaking views & perfect photo ops of the Bridge, the Bay, the City, the Pacific, plus wildlife and wildflowers.

Seaplane flight

Take to the air and experience the most breathtaking views possible of the San Francisco Bay and Pacific coast on a 30-minute flight. Seaplane Adventures has been flying these skies for 70 years!

Champagne Toast

Pop the cork for a champagne toast & locally sourced, organic lunch while talking over the day’s adventure. Then walk in the Marin sunshine to see Sausalito’s arty shops, funky houseboats, and charming cafes.

Ferry Back to SF

When it’s time to head back to the city, don’t worry about traffic and delays. Sit back for a relaxing 30-minute ferry ride and enjoy the ocean breeze as you cruise past Alcatraz Island and land at Pier 39.
