We craft one adventure per day just for the private group on board and the unique goings on in the City. That means the itinerary is open - we will always stop at San Francisco’s classic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks and typically roll through neighborhoods like North Beach, Pacific Heights, Haight-Ashbury, Castro, Mission, and the Embarcadero.
We will also leave the big buses behind to explore street-art alleys in the Mission, mosaic-decorated stairways in the Sunset, the laid-back outdoor vibe of the Presidio, the Beaux-Arts beauty of City Hall, the famous “Painted Ladies” at Alamo Square, or even go down the real crookedest street in San Francisco (it’s not Lombard Street!) It all depends on what your group is interested in and what is best just for that day. After a quick lunch stop in a local neighborhood along the way, your experience on land will end with drop off at Pier 39.

There you will set your sights on the Bay Voyager 90 minute excursion. Bay Voyager will outfit you with foul weather gear (to keep you warm and dry from the occasional splash), and then you will board their small vessel to explore under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and along the city front and then head back to our home port for a quick visit to the world famous Pier 39 Sea Lions! No need for binoculars on this trip, we see it all up close!
Narrated by your Captain, you’ll learn something new about the historic Bay area, and view the waterfront in a way unlike any other! Take photos, make memories and see it all up close. Travel faster, farther and closer to the sights than any tour boat on the bay! See Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge and other highlights of your morning tour from a whole new perspective.
When you there you can enjoy Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf at your leisure before easily making your own way back to your accommodations by streetcar, cable car, bus or ride share.

Bay Voyager cruise starts at Pier 39 at 2pm and ends at Pier 39 at 3:30pm.

Additional Info:
If the boat cruise is not available on the day that you booked we will work with you to find an alternative date. If we can not find an alternative date then we are happy to refund you for at least the boat tour portion on the experience.
Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking for all tours.
For the San Francisco City Urban Adventure, a full refund is available up to 24 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule your tour at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability.
For the City Urban Adventure plus Alcatraz, the Alcatraz ferry company requires me to finalize my ticket list ten days in advance. A full refund for this tour is available up to 10 days in advance. After that point no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule the city tour portion of the experience at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability. Rescheduling Alcatraz may require purchasing new tickets at their face value ($41 for adults, $25 for kids under 12).
For the Morning in Marin, a full refund is available 72 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I can reschedule the land portion of the experience up to 72 hours in advance without penalties or fees - subject to availability. I can not reschedule trips within 72 hours. Flights may be canceled or flight routes altered at Seaplane Adventures sole discretion due to weather or federal airspace mandates/restrictions. If the seaplane portion of the trip is canceled due to weather, that amount ($219pp for adults) will be fully refunded.
For the SF City Tour and Bay Boat Tour Combo, a full refund is available up to 24 hours in advance. After that point, no refunds are allowed. I understand that flights get delayed, traffic happens and plans change. I can reschedule your tour at any time without penalties or fees - subject to availability.
For private tour bookings, I put time and effort into planning your unique private tour experience from the day that you book, so 20% of the reservation amount is not refundable. The remaining 80% is refundable up to 24 hours before departure. After that point, no refunds are allowed.
